RNP is a private, nonprofit social services agency which serves the Greater Bridgeport, Connecticut Community. We strive to solve the most difficult social problems facing humanity and effect positive, lasting change. RNP serves well over 2,500 individuals daily. Our comprehensive case management services, treatment and support to men and women living with substance use and psychiatric disorders are imperative to their recovery. We also operate one of Bridgeport's largest homeless shelters. Our mission is to restore hope, health, and well-being to our clients in a recovery environment that embraces compassion, dignity and respect. Our Medication Assisted Treatment Division offers Methadone Maintenance in both Bridgeport and Stratford as well as within Bridgeport Correctional Facility. We also manage an ambulatory detoxification center and homeless shelter. Our programs offer HIV test counseling and confidential testing to all individuals served. In addition to our Addiction Treatment Services, RNP provides housing services, support and treatment to individuals with mental health and co-occurring disorders.
RNP has taken a leadership role at local, national and international opioid forums by offering free education, resources, referrals and support. In response to the Opioid crisis, it has implemented several life-saving programs, many of which have been without third-party or other financial support as it is RNP’s mission to save the lives of those ensnared by the hands of addiction. With the funds raised, we will expand access and continue to serve well over 5,000 individuals annually; continue to employ innovative evidence based strategies to create measurable and sustained impact in our communities; and, most importantly, offer hope and faith to the individuals we serve who are among the most vulnerable in our community.
