Stamford EMS provides paramedic transport services for the city of Stamford, Connecticut. Our ambulances are staffed with experienced Connecticut-licensed paramedics and emergency medical technicians who meet our stringent qualifications for employment and clinical care delivery. All SEMS paramedic units carry state-of-the-art ECG and non-invasive hemodynamic monitoring equipment. They also are equipped with mechanical chest compression devices, CPAP flow generators, and electronic medical record charting capabilities. We are proud to share that in 2017, for the 11th consecutive year, Stamford EMS earned accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CAAS). Only 1% of EMS systems in the country is granted CAAS accreditation, which means that SEMS has met the “gold standard” determined by the ambulance industry.
Stamford EMS aspires to raise $1,000 on Giving Day. Funds raise will help purchase a new Lucas Device. The device delivers automated, consistent chest compressions to improve blood flow of patients who are in cardiac arrest. Our work saves lives and every dollar helps!
