Wilton Library Association

137 Old Ridgefield Rd.
Wilton, CT 06897

The Wilton Library Association (WLA) is at the heart of a vibrant and civically involved community, a community that enables the Library to be the gateway where people discover and celebrate words, images, ideas and possibilities. Since 1895, we have provided resources and vital services that progressed to meet the changing demands of the times. Today, the Library is a cornerstone institution that provides a solid foundation for community life and reflects the priority the town has placed on the value of learning. A dynamic and evolving collection, access to technology, enrichment programs, classes on all manner of subjects, and concerts are just some of our offerings. The driving force behind the Library includes an incredible range of dedicated people and resources: our generous donors who provide nearly 25% of our operating budget and the special funds that help grow our services and collections, programs, events and emerging media resources; the Library’s hard working volunteers and staff; the devoted Board of Trustees; and the Town of Wilton and State officials who support our initiatives and make the balance of funding for the Library possible. Thanks to the support of our community and our donors, Wilton Library is a place of infinite possibilities – a place to look forward and to plan for the future; a space to learn about the past as well as a dynamic venue to experience the present and access resources.
